Blunder by Man or by God?

Updated: Oct 4, 2020

If God created the Universe, then, who created God?

This our 5 year old grandsons asked, me as I did my parents and they had asked my grandparents, without anyone getting a satisfactory answer.

So life just moves along with this nagging doubt, and most of us will die never knowing the answer.

Even if we were to get a satisfactory answer, what will we do with it? Nothing.

Humans need to worship something greater than themselves and that great entity is God. If we cannot perceive God then we will have to Create a God for ourselves.

Like the fable of the six blind men and the elephant, even the so called God we perceive or create will only be our perception and everyone's perception will be different. Each one creating or perceiving his or her own God.

Whatever Humans create will be temporary and flawed. We squabble over everything and we wage wars in the name of our Gods. What greater blunder can Man make than creating God.

If God has created what we are, then looking at how we think, and act, it appears God has not done a very good job and that is the blunder of God.

Friedrich Nietzsche. (1844- 1900) was a German philosopher and scholar, whose thoughts have exerted a profound influence on Western philosophy and modern intellectual history.

Whose fault..or invention?

Does this has to be a fault or something we need to understand yet?

Or solve the riddle.? It does seem to be an old and ongoing query needing answer, since dawn of civilization,as the man started to think beyond his persona. It has turned out to be a great intellectual and gratifying exercise. Interested takers do this time to time and seemingly love it.

Did Humans invent God?

As human societies developed eons ago, they could observe the skies, stars, changing weather etc. and rationalized the existence of God as the only logical explanation for Mother Nature
