Aurangzeb, a fake pious man and a failed emperor.
It's a great tragedy that we ignore or forget noble and good people, usually after getting rid of them. A greater tragedy is that we routinely glorify and honour people who have murdered millions, ravaged lands, savaged people and destroyed civilisations. We call them Conquerors, Emperors, Great, Magnificent, etc. Some misguided and misinformed people hail Abdul Muzaffar Muhi-ud-Din Muhammad, alias 'Aurangzeb', as a great ruler. They claim he was pious and a man of god, simp

Not enough to be right.
In 1846, whilst working in the Obstetrics department at Vienna General Hospital, Dr Ignaz Semmelweis was a disturbed man. He observed that 18% of mothers died from 'childbed fever' after childbirth in a clinic staffed by physicians and medical students. Surprisingly, it was 9 times higher than in another clinic in the same hospital, staffed exclusively by midwives (2%). Women preferred giving birth in the streets if they could not get admitted into the second clinic and avoid

We look for deep, complex explanations, blaming a whole host of factors for our failures. Many 'leaders', business owners, managers, bosses, etc. like to blame others for lack of good results. Once I patiently listened to a client, who is also a friend, moaning about the poor performance of his employees.

MK Gandhi was no Mahatma
Click on the image to view the video on YouTube The 'Mahatma' fraud was perpetuated first by the British, then by former Indian Prime Minister Nehru. It has done great damage to the Indian psyche even to this day. If Indians and the world at large wish to realise their true spiritual, emotional, intellectual and material potential, they must abandon Gandhi and much of Gandhian philosophy. Watch the video to appreciate why I say this. Written and posted by: Gurvinder Singh on

We must be in 'Sidpa Bardo'. - How else can we explain this madness?
Yama - Lord of Death and Justice, coming to claim a soul During World War II, the Allies captured many prisoners from the German army in France. Among the many captives detained at Château Ervance in France were two strange Russians. They did not speak German or Russian or any other language that was known either to their captors or their fellow prisoners. They could, in fact, only converse with one another. A professor of Slavonic languages, brought down from Oxford, could m

Wonder
Click on image to listen on YouTube Free of the burden of the past and unconcerned about the future, the lives of little children are filled with wonder. As we age, we stop wondering. Then we cease to live; we merely exist. Rarely exploring/wondering, therefore never really living. Our soul shrivels and die long before our bodies do. Those who wonder live in paradise, the paradise of the mind. Wondering takes us on a fantastic voyage deep into the soul of Creation. Imagine t
