Give me Head

If you are a beer drinker, you might have noticed two things. Drinking beer often causes bloating, and after a short while, the beer's taste is no longer that refreshing or appealing.
This is often due to pouring the beer into the glass at an angle and not allowing the beer to form a head.
The head is the foamy part of the beer, and it serves several important functions.
There is gas in that beer, and it's going to come out. If we pour a beer and don't give it good head, those bubbles are going to come out somewhere, and that will be inside our stomach.
A proper head disperses the gas before we drink and enjoy the flavour of the beer for a longer time.
Beer should be served with a head also because the foam layer traps aromas, protects the beer from oxidation (staling), enhances flavour, texture and signals freshness.
I prefer not to drink, but if people do want to drink beer, at least they ought to do it right.
